Ryko was born in Portland in 1998, but has lived in California for as long as he can remember. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from CSU, Northridge in 2020. Since moving from SoCal, he has been really impressed with the music community in and around Sacramento!
Ryko's enjoys many different types of music genres. He studied jazz harmony/theory while in college, and currently plays accompaniment for LCR's choir (the church across the street from CAM Center). He enjoys attending local jam sessions and performing with a variety of other musicians. Ryko loves teaching his students to approach music with the same open-mindedness, while also helping foster their passion to learn.
When not behind a piano, Ryko enjoys doodling, biking, and going to the skatepark listening to Blink-182 on repeat.
